We stayed with some friends who owned a small-holding in a little village in the middle of nowhere called Varzy. We had the most glorious time swimming in lakes and riding the velorail.
France is such a beautiful country!
I think it's the only other country I'd like to live in!
Sue xxThe Little White Clothing Companyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17124776931429171709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-441027785445663734.post-14068535331931041422012-05-23T04:11:53.416+01:002012-05-23T04:11:53.416+01:00A wonderful post, Mrs. T. You might enjoy the series, which was written over a period of twenty-odd years and has now concluded.ehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11376645220662546020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-441027785445663734.post-34198561665906787482012-05-22T22:26:57.239+01:002012-05-22T22:26:57.239+01:00May I apologise, in advance, for the French Canadi...May I apologise, in advance, for the French Canadian way of speaking French! We never made it to Lascaux, but we've visited & seen the troglodyte cave houses, which are fantastic.

We've had lots of road trips through France over the years & we adore it - I think we know it better than the UK... This year we decided that we have to cut down on our car use & long journeys, so our usual French trip has been shelved & instead we've vowed to holiday nearer to home. Last year we spent a month there & stayed near Carcassonne, which was great during the Winter - lovely & quiet!

Travelling is wonderful & now I wished we were going further afield...

Kay :)Just Humans Beinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14896514191821358208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-441027785445663734.post-2676815313698256892012-05-22T21:10:26.012+01:002012-05-22T21:10:26.012+01:00I really enjoyed that, thank you :) Haven't be...I really enjoyed that, thank you :) Haven't been to France, maybe it's something we should think about. xMylittlepieceofenglandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13010447131003277696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-441027785445663734.post-92009523952587341882012-05-22T20:59:34.703+01:002012-05-22T20:59:34.703+01:00Now there's somewhere I'd like to go...it ...Now there's somewhere I'd like to go...it looks as if it is off the usual tourist route...am I right?
I am ashamed to say I haven't been to France as yet but its still on my places to visit list

Amanda :-)Crafty in the Medhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15365932964481050936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-441027785445663734.post-39237346059192818472012-05-22T20:03:52.959+01:002012-05-22T20:03:52.959+01:00I ADORE the Dordogne! It's an area with an amazing history. JxJanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07341377291617694838noreply@blogger.com
