Today I feel grateful for my little part of our beautiful earth. We are so blessed to live where we do.
These are photos taken when I have time to stand and stare.
The view out front...
The local beach.....
Can you make out the woodpecker on the rails? (The walk around the local river)
Well I am off to work. Hope you enjoyed my snapshot of our little corner of Suffolk. What do you love about where you love?
Enjoy your day

I love living in the Suffolk countryside, I was born and bred here. Although part of me belongs in Oxfordshire, that is where my late father was born and the past generations of that side of my family.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adored my holidays in the Oxfordshire countryside when I was younger and felt really at home there. But you can't take Suffolk out of the girl ;o) xx
Love the photos, you love in such a beautiful place :)
ReplyDeleteWhat I like about my homeplace are the woods and the river.
Have a wonderful day!
Well I'm lucky to be living in Suffolk for half of my life...and I love it so much...but my heart belongs to Oxford and the Cotswolds where I was born.. so I was a bit gob-smacked to see Dragonfly's comment! I shall pop over to her blog now! Thanks for the lovely photos...I'll be there tomorrow...ahhhhhh, hugs, Jill x
ReplyDeleteI love everything about where I live..except for some of the wild life...but if they stay away from me...that's fine.

The beach photo is wonderful, may I ask what beach it is?
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your comments - believe it or not, the beach is Lowestoft moogiegirl xx
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my blog- no I haven't stopped visiting you- I just posted fewer comments on other people's blogs last week because I was on holiday!!
ReplyDeleteI was in Norfolk - which is as beautiful as Suffolk - the wide open skies, glorious beaches etc etc!!
and no you haven't offended me[it would be VERY hard for you to do that] blessings xxx
Oh wow.. such beautiful scenery! All of Gods gorgeous creation!! I wish I had your view!! I'm in a fairly large city, so can't really compare to what you have!
ReplyDeleteHello:
ReplyDeleteWe have so enjoyed looking at these beautiful glimpses of Suffolk. As you say, it is a most attractive part of the world in which to live. And, what we have so appreciated is your genuine enthusiasm for the simple things in life which matter so much and which far too often we take for granted.
We have found your wonderfully eclectic and beautifully illustrated blog quite by chance but we are so happy that we have arrived. We have signed as Followers to keep in touch.
Heavenly! My soul claims for a bit of green and fresh air, but ( or because) I live in a big city.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures of peace and tranquility - natural calmness and all being well. I exclaimed to my hubby early one morning, as I looked out my bedroom window onto the next door neighbour's city lawn "oh look! Come quick and see! A deer family .." he jumped up saying "what - no way" .... and I laughed out loud as I explained that I was only practicing for next month when we move into the countryside (and really will see deer from my bedroom window)!!
ReplyDeleteBe blessed x

Shocked that the beach was Lowestoft! Seems that we may walk past each other some days as I'm a Worlingham/Beccles girl x
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful views! They make me want to visit.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I miss having the mountains and countryside to look at each day. The city life is wearing on me for sure!
ReplyDeleteI know we are very lucky to live where we do. I can imagine the scene Ruthie! Moogiegirl - how strange - we are Worlingham too - what a small world it is! xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteWe moved to Cornwall from the north of England 10 years ago & we feel incredibly lucky to be living somewhere surrounded by such natural beauty.
We live just a few minutes walk from the sea, but we also fancy living on a mountain at point in the future, preferably deep in a forest too, but for now we are very happy here!
Kay :)
