It's Friday

Good Evening Lovely Readers and a very warm welcome to new followers Helen and Lily...

just 90 more followers and the lovely crochet book on my sidebar is up for grabs!

It's Friday, at last; is it just me or is anyone else out there shattered? I don't think the weather helps - we have so much rain and yet we still have a hosepipe ban in our area and there is talk of drought and standpipes in streets next Winter! I am almost through with the French orals at school and it has been exhausting - some of the students spend so much energy saying they can't do it ............ I tell them:

How true this is!

Still, it is Friday and we have a long weekend with a bank holiday to look forward to. My heart feels full of joy at the thought.

I am looking forward to spending time with family.....

Putting my feet up with a cup of tea.........

Time to prepare my presentation for my sign language class.

Gentle walks in the mornings and evenings in my beautiful part of England.

Time to craft....

and to remember what is important...

and time for fun

How are you spending your precious weekend?

Love Mrs Thrifty

  1. With money you can buy...... How very very true!
I have an as level French student at home who is constantly saying I can't. She is usually so positive, but has found AS level really difficult despite getting an a at gcse. Bless her, she works so hard - I will keep reminding her she can if she believes in herself .... We'll see :)
Hope you have a lovely weekend xx

  7. Sounds like you're going to have a lovely weekend!

We're working today... But have tomorrow & Monday off, we're hoping for some nice weather so we can get out for a long walk... Hahaha. Though think it will be more like staying in & watching a film with the wood burner blazing!

    Have a nice time!

    Kay :)

  9. You have a Holiday weekend? Enjoy ! I have two sets of persons coming to view the "Checkerboard Aussie's" litter. Laundry on the go, and hopefully cleaning out a bit of the flower beds once it warms up a bit more. Have a wonderful extra long weekend. xxx
